If you download the vSphere 5.5 client and launch it on a domain controller, you get the following message. I started doing some research and it turns out that getting the vSphere 5.5 client installed on a domain controller is as simple as launching the installer from the CLI with a simple flag on the end.

I'm confused! Trying ESXi 5.5 the free one which I installed. It says download the tools to manage the server at x.x.x.x. When I go there, it says here you can download the vSphere Client, but then it says note the traditional client doesn't support new features, and to use the vSphere Web client instead.

When I launch this app after installing it, right at the top it says I can keep using it but all new features are on the vSphere web client only.
